Product description:
Clomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), used mainly in female infertility due to anovulation (e.g. due to polycystic ovary syndrome).
Clomiphene is an orally administered, nonsteroidal, ovulatory stimulant designated chemically as 2-[p-(2-chloro-1,2-diphenylvinyl)phenoxy] triethylamine citrate (1:1).

Characteristic:
Selective estrogen receptor modulators have varying effects on different isoforms of the estrogen receptor. Their use is In infertility, osteoporosis and menopause symptoms.
Indication:
Clomiphene is indicated for the treatment of ovulatory dysfunction in women desiring pregnancy. Impediments to achieving pregnancy must be excluded or adequately treated before beginning Clomiphene therapy. Clomiphene is commonly used by male anabolic steroid users to bind the estrogen receptors in their bodies, thereby blocking the effects of estrogen, i.e., gynecomastia. It also restores the body's natural production of testosterone. It is commonly used as a "recovery drug" and taken toward the end of asteroid cycle. Some users report that taking Clomiphene increases the amount of fluid produced during ejaculation.
Contraindication:
This medication should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have these conditions: pregnancy, liver disease, history of liver dysfunction, pituitary failure, endometrical carcinoma or ovarian cysts.
Side effects:
Common adverse drug reactions associated with the use of Clomiphene include: hot flashes, abdominal discomfort, visual blurring (dose-dependent), and/or reversible ovarian enlargement and cyst formation. Infrequent adverse effects include: abnormal uterine bleeding, nausea, and/or vomiting. Rare adverse effects include: reversible alopecia and/or ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Discuss the risks and benefits of therapy with your doctor.
Dosage and administration:
Treatment of the selected patient should begin with a low dose, 50mg daily (1 tablet) for 5 days. The dose should be increased only in those patients who do not ovulate in response to cyclic 50mg Clomiphene. A low dosage or duration of treatment course is particularly recommended if unusual sensitivity to pituitary gonadotropin is suspected, such as in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Storage:
Store at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
